ahh my work...

i wish i could say that something interesting has happened to me over break. but, it hasn't. so like others, i will write about something interesting that happened to someone else. okay so the restaurant i work in has been sold. the old owner was getting rid of a bunch of stuff in the upstairs office area so apparently she told the two waitresses that they could go up into the office and take whatever they wanted because it's just going to get thrown away. so this morning one of the waitresses came in. she's 39, her name is "Trina" (no, not Katrina, just Trina) and she cracks me up to say the least about her. anyway, she was going to a 76ers game tonight with one of her low-life boyfriends and on friday she took a cooler from the office so she could bring some alcohol to the game with her in it. so she's been driving around with this cooler for the past weekend without even looking inside of it. so she didn't think anything of it until today when she went to fill it up with ice before she left work for her game. and what did she find in the cooler but a fair share of marijuana equipped with rolling papers and all... Trina was going nuts and first told me about it and i asked her what she was going to do with it (assuming she doesn't smoke weed), she said she needs to relax so she thinks that she's gonna smoke it. anyway, we all figured that the weed belonged to the owner's brother who use to run the restaurant and was forced out of the business when his grandparents found him upstairs in the office with a shitload of cocaine. Trina was reluctant to tell Jody, the other cook, because she thought she would call the old manager coke-head and tell him that Trina found his stash because she wants to bang him, and according to her, she already has. so Trina told Jody, the old-woman manager named Arlene, and the current restaurant owner who is the sister of the one who made the cooler stash in the first place. All Kadie could think to say was "oh wow, i'm so sorry..." and then Trina said "Please, DO NOT be sorry" just another day at work...what would you do if you found a cooler full of weed?
